Registration

Current Class Counts

We strive to keep our classes small, limiting the teacher:student ratio to 1:10. Once a class reaches 10 students, it will no longer be available for registration. But, you are welcome to add your name to the waitlist. When the RSVP period has ended, any RSVPs that have not been paid for will be canceled. Those seats will then be offered to those students on the waitlist in the order of which you signed up. For those classes where it is appropriate, a parent volunteer may be assigned as a teacher assistant to allow us to open up the waitlist to additional students while maintaining the 1:10 teacher:student ratio. If you are concerned about paying for membership dues and not being able to register for your preferred class, you can track class RSVPs below. You can also wait until Open House and pay for membership and tuition at the same time.

Current class counts are posted below.

Class RSVP Form

A detailed schedule of courses is available on the website. Age ranges for each class are recommendations and teachers are solely responsible for allowing appropriate exceptions. Teachers will be available for introductions and questions during the Open House.

Membership Enrollments open: Friday, August 5th

Priority RSVPs open: Monday, August 15th

General RSVPs open: Monday, August 22nd

The general RSVP period will open on Monday, August 22nd. New members will be able to register for classes after completing the family membership form and enrolling any new students at that time. You will need to submit one form for each student taking classes. Any family that paid membership dues for the Spring 2022 semester is able to RSVP during the priority period as are board members, teachers, and the steering committee. After submitting your RSVP request, you will receive a confirmation email with payment instructions.

Payment

To secure your RSVP, payment needs to be verified at the Open House by Noon on Monday, August 29th. If payment has not been verified by this time, the RSVP will be canceled. Registration will still be open following the Open House, but you will not be able to RSVP online. Instead, you will need to make arrangements with a board member to verify payment at the time of registration.

A detailed schedule of courses will be posted at www.sarasotalearningproject.com as well as on the SCLP Facebook page shortly before each semester. Along with class descriptions, recommended age ranges for each class and class fees will be provided. Exceptions to the recommended age range may be discussed with the teacher. Likewise, teachers determine their own refund policy.
